Low Country Contracting: Professional Santee Homebuilders
Low Country Contracting ~ "Upgrade Your Life Style"
Cost "per square foot" varies widely between homes- This big difference is the result of several
factors. Larger homes tend to cost less per square foot, while homes with a more complicated roof
design, vaulted ceilings, and lots of extra windows tend to cost more per square foot. The interior
features of the home can also dramatically affect the price of your home, so your choice of interior
finishes such as flooring and cabinets play a large role in determining the price of your new home.
Some homes also include additional features such as garages, porches, and decks. Since most
people speak about the "cost per square foot" based on the heated area in the home, the cost on
homes that include these features is higher when compared to homes that do not include these
features. Also, depending on the floor plan, some homes just cost more to build than others, and it
costs more to build in some geographical areas than others. For example, some developments
require additional contractor's deposits, architectural review board fees, landscape deposits and other
fees that another are may not require.
For these reason the "average cost per square foot" doesn't really tell you anything. It's somewhat
like comparing new car prices based on "cost per pound".  It just doesn't give us enough information to
properly answer your question! If you have seen a floorplan or plans that you are interested in, we will
be happy to meet with you to discuss the cost associated with the specific house you wish to build..
Once we have that information, we can also offer you direction on options that can help you place the
homeNews For LLC you want within your price range.
